I once taught writing. Writing in theory and writing in practice are very different things. I’m certainly no linguist like Shakespeare. Shucks, I wouldn’t pretend to possess an ounce of Stephen King’s I-crank-out-a-novel-a-week talent. But as Robin Williams (as Professor Keating) once said, we each have an internal ‘yawp’ hankering to burst forth. Pen to paper, here’s what erupted from my inner voice. “The Potter’s Field.”
